Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14 years old. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd had an amazing three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent right in the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen to defeat her in an unanimous decision. This put an ominous mark on her records as an amateur.
