
Colson Baker(born on April 22 on the 22nd of April, 1990) who is known professionally as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, and actor. He is renowned for his genre duality across hip hop.Machine Gun Kelly released four mixtapes during 2007 and 2010, before signing with Bad Boy Records. The album he released first Lace Up (2012, peaking at number 4 on the US Billboard 200), included the smash hit single "Wild Boy" with Waka Flocka Flam. General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his third and second albums. The latter was the one that featured the smash hit track "Bad Things" that was performed by Camila Cabello. It reached number 4 in the Billboard Hot 100. His fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2018) was a rap-oriented album. Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album, Tickets to My Downfall was released in the year 2020. The album was an unorthodox departure from hip-hop and a move into the world of pop punk. The track "My Ex's Best Friend" was the first single to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200. It was the first rock album to be able to attain the top spot. It also had a similar commercial success following the release of the sequel, Mainstream Sellout (2022).Machine Gun Kelly had his first starring role in the romantic comedy Beyond the Lights (2014) In the following years, he was in the thriller based on a techno concept Nerve (2016) as well as the horror Bird Box (2018), the comedy Big Time Adolescence and played Tommy Lee in the biopic The Dirt (both 2019)
